Patty is an internationally trained lawyer, licensed to practice both in the Philippines and in British Columbia, and has represented clients in the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia.  With legal experience spanning more than a decade, Patty has handled commercial, civil, and family law matters in both jurisdictions.  Patty is a results-driven lawyer with a strategic litigation mindset. She is committed to advancing her clients’ interests competently – whether in or out of court. Patty currently practices family law, civil litigation and commercial litigation at Jamal Law Group.

Patty can assist clients on family law legal issues such as:  cohabitation agreements, pre-nuptial agreements, separation agreements, divorce, child support, spousal support, division of family property, allocation of family debt, excluded property, and protection/conduct orders.  Patty can also assist clients in the area of civil litigation such as contract and commercial disputes.

Patty is also a member of the board of directors of the Filipino Canadian Legal Network, an organization that aims to bridge the barriers and build better legal services for the Filipino-Canadian community.
