Gurpreet is a family law lawyer who is dedicated to assisting individuals through complex and often emotionally challenging legal matters. He practices primarily in the area of family law and represents clients across British Columbia with legal issues including, but not limited to, divorce, separation, parenting time and parental responsibilities, child guardianship, child support, spousal support, property and debt division, and family violence. Gurpreet has appeared before both the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Gurpreet obtained his law degree from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia. During law school, he served as Co-President of the Access to Justice Club, focusing on initiatives that promote greater access to legal services for individuals in need. He also volunteered with the UBC Law Students’ Legal Advice Program, where he provided legal advice to low-income individuals. Gurpreet began his legal career in criminal defence, summering at a prominent firm in Vancouver, before transitioning to family law during his articles at a boutique firm in Surrey. He was called to the British Columbia bar in 2025.

Gurpreet is committed to guiding his clients with knowledge, responsiveness, and a practical, client-centered approach. He believes in achieving amicable resolutions wherever possible, whether through negotiation and collaborative processes or, when necessary, through the court process.
