Jamal Law Group currently has an opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic family lawyer to join its growing team.  The position is full-time and the salary range is $75,000-$200,000 per annum.  The ideal candidate has previous general litigation and/or family law experience; good practice management skills; and is willing to contribute to a positive and respectful team environment. They will also have experience running files independently and be knowledgeable in a wide range of family law matters.

Additional qualifications include:

  1. Member of the Law Society of BC in good standing and eligible to practice.
  2. Legally entitled to practice law in Canada
  3. Adept in written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills
  4. Collaborative team player with the ability to provide clear direction to others
  5. Ability to meet deadlines
  6. Discretion and exceptional judgment
  7. Impeccable client service skills

Our lawyers are responsible for managing their own caseload and expanding their client base. They receive compensation based on the fees they collect monthly, giving them the freedom to control their income as independent contractors. Through our fee-sharing model, your earning potential is directly tied to your efforts, offering the opportunity for substantial rewards in a thriving legal practice. Depending on the experience and competency of the lawyer, we may assign projects on our existing client files; provide referrals to new clients and offer assistance with growing your client base.
